Poultry Purchase Contract

At this time we are not a National Poultry Improvement Plan certified farm, and will not sell birds, chicks, or eggs outside of New York state. We have applied for NPIP certification and will be tested early 2019. To learn more about the NPIP program, check out their website here.

At the time of purchase we garauntee that any live chickens sold are healthy and free of any sign of illness, parasites, or congenital defects. Before sale or shipment each bird sold is sprayed with an avian-specific lice/mite spray to insure that they are free of external parasites. Our birds are dewormed seasonally in the Spring and Fall for round-worms and tape-worms.

We cannot garauntee that sold birds will remain healthy once in their new home, as that is dependent on the environment and new owner.

We do offer a Live Arrival Garauntee for birds shipped, assuming that they are picked up the day they arrive at the local post-office. If a bird arrives deceased we require notification within 24 hours and a photo of the body. We will offer a full refund for the cost of the bird, or ship a replacement (shipping at cost of buyer), assuming a suitable replacement is available.

We do not offer any hatch garauntee on shipped eggs. Shipping is very hard on eggs, as the jostling frequently causes the air-sac in the egg to become detached from where it should be. Buying fertile hatching eggs is a risk that  we assume all buyers understand.
